Equipment Tip
I get a lot of players asking me if they should carry long irons (2-4) in their bags or use fairway/utility woods instead. For a highly skilled player with plenty of club head speed it's totally a matter of personal preference. But I
think for most golfers the choice is pretty clear: the fairway and utility woods will give you more versatility. They are easier to use from longer grass because the shape of the sole and leading edge allow the club to get through the longer grass with
less resistance. They also tend to be a bit more forgiving, and get the ball up in the air more quickly and easily than the long irons.
I work with golfers of all skill levels on all areas of their games (individually or in small groups of friends, family, co-workers, etc.) in my Private Golf Schools.
